Anthony King, M.Ed

Anthony King is an accomplished educational leader with over 13 years of experience in fostering academic excellence and cultivating transformative school cultures. His diverse career encompasses pivotal roles such as Math Teacher, Head Coach, Instructional Math Coach, Assistant Principal, and Principal within secondary education. King holds a Bachelor of Science Degree with a Minor in Coaching from Frostburg State University. He earned a Master of Education Degree in Educational Leadership from National Louis University and is currently pursuing an Executive Master’s in Business Administration at Howard University.

In addition to his school-based roles, King is the CEO of The Student Stakeholder, LLC and Anthony King Coaching & Consulting, where he serves as a Consultant and Leadership Coach. He collaborates with educators and organizations to build leadership capacity and improve student outcomes. His dedication to fostering equitable opportunities and transformative leadership is central to his professional mission and broader community work.

King is also a dedicated advocate for educational equity, serving on the boards of the 100 Black Men of Central Ohio, City Year Columbus, and the Columbus Rotary Peace Committee. He provides valuable insights on how to best support youth and the community, championing policies and practices that enhance community engagement and promote equitable educational opportunities. His board memberships enable him to leverage his expertise in strategic planning, leadership development, and student-centered initiatives, ultimately creating a lasting systemic impact within the community.

A core belief driving King’s work is that students are the majority stakeholders in education and deserve to be the most valued voice at the table. He remains steadfast in his mission to ensure that every student has access to the resources and opportunities necessary for success in higher education and beyond.

King holds multiple licensures, including:

  • Ohio Principal 4-9 License

  • Ohio Principal 5-12 License

  • Florida Professional Teaching License

  • Florida Mathematics 5-9 License

  • Florida Pre-K-3rd Grade License

  • Florida Educational Leadership License
